Naruto took Tayuya to the stores and they started to look around. "So, what do you want to get first?" Naruto asked looking to Tayuya. "I need new clothes." Tayuya said looking for a clothes store. "What kind of clothes, dresses?" He asked. "No! I hate dresses. I can't move in them. Plus every one stares at me when I wear them." She replied looking at herself. "How do they stare?" Naruto asked curiously. "They watch me with their mouths hung open like idiots and stare blankly at me," She replied. “It makes me feel uncomfortable. Like I’m some kind of freak.” Naruto shook his head. “You’re not a freak Tayuya. I would know. Everyone use to call me one when I was younger.” Naruto said looking down feeling sad as the memories came flooding back to him. “Why did they call you a freak?” Tayuya asked. Naruto sighed. “You know how I’m able to use that weird power that makes me look more like a fox?” He asked as they entered a store. “Yeah.” Tayuya replied. “Well I got that power because of this demon that was sealed in me when I was born. The Nine Tailed Fox attacked this village and when I was growing up, they all thought I was the demon himself, just reincarnated. I went through so much suffering.” Naruto explained. “Wow. I would have never guessed. I’m sorry.” Tayuya said looking from the clothes to Naruto. “Don’t be. We have each other now. Everything will be okay. I promise you.” Naruto said with a smile. “Thanks.” Tayuya said with a blush. “What do you think your doing here?” The owner of the store asked standing behind Naruto and looking at him with anger. “You see?” Naruto said turning from Tayuya to the clerk. “Look, just cool it. I’m not shopping here. I’m just here to look after Tayuya. She needs new clothes.” Naruto said standing his ground. “I don’t care what your excuse is. Now get out!” He yelled in Naruto’s face. “I have to stay with her, she’s pregnant.” Naruto tried to explain. “I don’t care. Now leave!” He said grabbing Naruto and throwing him out. Naruto hit the ground and rolled a few times. Sakura and Sasuke were walking down the street at this time and saw Naruto get thrown out of the store. “Naruto!” They shouted together. “What are you doing?” Sasuke asked while helping him up. Naruto growled as he got to his feet. “He threw me out.” Naruto said pointing to the clerk. “Why? Were you peeping on girls.” Sasuke asked. “No! I was here shopping with Tayuya.” Naruto replied. “Then why did he throw you out?” Sakura asked. “Because of who I am.” Naruto answered. “Please, you know the real reason I threw you out!” The clerk said walking back in. 'What is he talking about?' Sasuke thought, looking at Naruto. Naruto gripped his hand in anger. “Naruto calm down!” Sakura said knowing what he was thinking. “What am I going to do? I want to take Tayuya shopping, but I’m not allowed to go into most of the stores.” Naruto said looking down in despair. “Don’t worry Naruto, I’ll take Tayuya shopping and then have a talk with Tsunade about this. Okay?” Sakura said with a smile. “Okay. Thanks Sakura.” Naruto said as he pulled out his wallet and gave her a large amount of money. “Wow, Naruto! Where did you get all that money?” Sasuke asked amazed. Naruto looked down. “I was saving it.” He replied. “For what?” Sakura asked. Naruto looked away. “I don’t really want to talk about that.” Naruto said sadly. “Oh!” they both said looking at each other. “Thanks for the help. When you’re done, we’ll meet back up at the ramen shop. Is that okay?” Naruto asked. “Yeah. See you later.” Sakura said then went into the store with Sasuke. When they entered the store they saw the clerk shouting at Tayuya and tell her to get out. Sakura grabbed the clerk and turned him around. “I think it would be in you best interest to stop yelling at her.” Sakura said with an irritated look. “Why?” The clerk asked folding his arms. “Oh, I don’t know. What do you think Tsunade would do to some one that was yelling at a pregnant girl that was just out shopping, Sakura?” Sasuke asked her with a grin. “Trust me Sasuke, you don’t want to know. It’s to horrible to talk about.” Sakura replied was a small chuckle. The clerk started to sweat. “What are you going to do?” He asked with fear in his voice. “I don’t feel like telling you. Come on Tayuya, lets go some where else.” Sakura said grabbing Tayuya’s hand and leading her out of the store. Sakura took Tayuya to a few stores and helped her with her shopping, while Sasuke went to visit Tsunade and tell her about what happened. Naruto was walking through the village and was trying to think of something to get Tayuya to make up for not being able to shop with her, as he was walking he heard music coming from this small stand and it sounded wonderful. “Is that a flute?” Naruto asked himself as he started to walk over to the stand. There was an old woman playing a flute at her stand and stopped when Naruto was standing in front of her. “Hello there little one. Are you looking for something?” She asked laying down her flute. “I heard you playing that flute and I just felt like I was drawn here.” Naruto said looking at the instruments she had laid out. “I use to play that song when I was a young girl. I’d go into the forest and play that song and draw all kinds of creatures over to me.” She said with a smile. “It’s really nice.” Naruto said with his big grin. “I remember playing that song one time and a group of foxes came over and they started to dance. I had such a fun time when they came around.” She said then began to laugh at the memory. Naruto started to cheer up. “Do you still have that flute?” Naruto asked looking at the flutes that were lined up next to each other. “Yep! It’s my most prized possession.” She said pulling out the most beautiful flute that Naruto had ever seen. “Wow! It’s beautiful,” Naruto said looking at the detailed markings on the flute. “I bet Tayuya would love this.” Naruto said handing it back to her. “Then why not give it to her?” The old lady said smiling. “I couldn’t afford something this nice. Besides it’s your prized possession. I couldn’t take it away from you.” Naruto replied. “I’m getting to old to play these instruments and it would make me very happy to know my prized possession was going to be given to some one who will treasure it as much as I did.” She said taking her flute from Naruto. She pulled out a beautifully decorated case and put the flute in it. “Here. Take good care of it.” She said handing the case to Naruto. “How much do you want for it?” he asked taking the case. “Your promise is all I ask for.” She replied. Naruto smiled. “I promise! I’ll take great care of it and I never go back on my word!” Naruto said full of pride. “That’s what I like to hear. Now go and have fun.” She said with a sweet smile. “I will, thanks Granny!” Naruto said running off. “My, my. He’s just as joyful as those foxes I use to dance with.” The lady said as she watched him leave. With Tsunade. “Now where is that paper work?” Tsunade asked herself as she was shuffling through a stack of reports and other random papers. “The deed to the estate is right over here, Tsunade.” Shizune said picking up a file. “I’m not looking for that. Just put it over there. I know it’s here, I just had it a minute ago. Ah, found it!” Tsunade said pulling out a few papers, but they slipped and fell to the floor. “What are these?” Shizune asked picking them up. “Adoption papers?” She yelled in shock. “Give me that!” Tsunade yelled embarrassed. “Who are they for?” She asked. “They’re... for me.” Tsunade said looking through them, making sure they were all there. “You’re adopting some one?” Shizune asked surprised. “Yeah. I’m adopting Naruto.” Tsunade replied nervously. “I see. I’m so happy for you Tsunade!” Shizune said with a smile. “Yeah. I just hope Naruto will be too.” She said feeling scared. “I know he will.” Shizune said reassuringly. “How do you know? What if he doesn’t want me as his mom?” Tsunade asked. “Trust me Tsunade. He wouldn’t want any one else but you as his mother. He’s already calling you his mom, you’re just making it official.” Shizune said with a smile as she put her hand on Tsunades shoulder. “I guess your right.” Tsunade said smiling. There was a knock on Tsunade’s door and Sasuke entered shortly after knocking. “What is it, Sasuke?” Tsunade asked. “We need to talk.” Sasuke said sitting in a chair. "What is it about?" Tsunade asked worried. Sasuke sighed. "Sakura and I ran into Naruto and Tayuya not to long ago." Sasuke replied. "Are they alright? Did one of them get hurt? What happened?" Tsunade shouted worried. "They're okay Lady Tsunade, but they had a small problem while they were out shopping." Sasuke said then leaned forward. "What happened?" Shizune asked. Sasuke told Tsunade about what happened at the store and what the manager did. Tsunade wasn't too happy to hear that her soon-to-be-son and his girlfriend were being treated with such disrespect. "Tell me Sasuke, what was the name of that store again?" Tsunade asked with a devious grin as she cracked her knuckles. A couple hours past while Naruto was sitting around waiting for Tayuya and Sakura to get done with their shopping and was starting to get board. “Man, how much longer do I have to wait?” Naruto asked himself. “You might be here for a long time.” Ino said standing next to him. “AH! When did you get here?” Naruto asked almost dropping the case. “Just a few seconds ago. I came to bring you this box you left in Tayuya’s room. The people at the hospital told me to take it with me. They didn't want you to forget it.” She said, heaving it up onto the stone bench Naruto was sitting on. "Oh, Thanks Ino! I almost forgot about that." Naruto replied. “It’s really heavy. What’s in it?” Ino asked, then sighed as she sat down. “It’s just some things my father left me.” Naruto replied. “Your father! Wow that’s so cool! Why don’t you go through some of this stuff while you wait?” Ino asked, wanting to dig through it too. “I don’t know. I want to, but I feel like some thing's holding me back.” Naruto said looking away from the box. “What’s holding you back?” Ino asked curiously. “Fear, I guess.” Naruto replied sadly. “Fear?” Ino said confused. “Yeah, I always thought my parents hated me. I thought they abandoned me and didn’t love me. I’m just afraid that if I look through the stuff they left me, I’ll find out that I was right. I can’t stand the thought of my own parents being disgusted by the very sight of me.” Naruto said hugging his knees to his chest. “I see. That is pretty scary.” Ino said sympathetically. ‘Man this must be hard on him.’ Ino thought to herself as she watched Naruto sit there lost in his thoughts, the erg to dig through his stuff now gone. “Well I have to go. My dad needs my help at the shop. Have fun Naruto!” Ino said leaving. “Thanks Ino. Bye.” Naruto replied trying to fake a smile. Naruto sat there for half an hour before Tayuya and Sakura were finished. “Hi Naruto! We’re done shopping. Sorry we took so long.” Tayuya said as her and Sakura walked over with a dozen bags each. “Wow! You two were busy.” Naruto said standing up. “Yeah. We kinda went overboard with the shopping. Sorry.” Sakura said handing Naruto the bags she was holding. “That’s okay. As long as you got everything you needed.” Naruto said taking the bags and got the box with a clone. “Ready to go home?” Naruto asked Tayuya with a smile. “Home?” Tayuya asked curiously. “Yeah. I’m taking you home and taking care of you.” Naruto said as they started walking. “Is that alright? What about the hospital?” Tayuya asked. “It’s alright. I asked Tsunade and she said it was okay.” Naruto replied. “Okay. I guess it would be nice to sleep in a real bed and have you around.” Tayuya said with a small smile. 'I wonder what his parents are like. I hope they like me. Wait, did he ever tell them about me and our child? What if he did tell them about me, but they don't like me and he didn't tell them about me staying with them? What am I going to do?' Tayuya said to herself, panicking. Naruto noticed her starting to get worried and he nudged her arm to get her attention. “It's okay Tayuya. You don't need to worry about anything. I'm going to be there for you no matter what.” Naruto said then kissed her cheek. Tayuya nodded with a blush as her worries slowly started to go away. As they got closer to the door of Naruto’s home Tayuya started to worry again and stopped walking. “What’s wrong?” Naruto asked turning to her. “Are you sure this is a good idea? Are your parents okay with me and, umm, 'us'?” Tayuya asked feeling her worry start to build again. Naruto lowered his head. “You don’t have to worry about that Tayuya. I don't have any parents; I was orphaned at birth and I lived by myself all my life. You don’t have to worry about anything.” Naruto said as he continued to the door. Tayuya covered her mouth as she gasped. Naruto opened the door and lead Tayuya into his home. “I’m sorry it’s so small, but it’s only temporary. We’re going to be moving into this really nice house that was left for me and we’ll have more room.” Naruto said putting everything down. “Who left you the house?” Tayuya asked. “My father.” Naruto said looking to the floor. “But you said you were orphaned at birth.” Tayuya said a little confused. “I was." Naruto said and paused for a few seconds. "My father died the day I was born.” Naruto said sadly. “What about your mother?” Tayuya asked taking his hand. “I don’t know, and to be honest, I don’t want to know. My father was the Fourth Hokage and was the one who sealed the Nine Tailed Fox in me. It was because of him that I suffered all my life. I don’t want to know what happened to my mother, because I’m afraid she hated me for having the Fox sealed in me.” Naruto said as a few tears came to his eyes. “I understand. I don’t know what my parents thought of me either. I remember living with them in a small house and we where happy. My mother was teaching me to play the flute and she taught me a song that she learned from a friend of hers from a far away country. My father was a ninja that was always away. He would send us letters a lot, but one day we received a letter and when my mom read it she started crying. I asked her what it said, but she never responded. I went to bed that night and when I woke up the next morning, I was alone. My mother was gone and so was most of her stuff. I was so scared. I never knew what happened to either of them. I still can't understand why they left me alone like that. I waited for a month, but they never came back. I started to think they hated me and I slowly started to become bitter towards my parents and started to hate everyone, not long after that, I met Orochimaru. He took me with him and raised me. I didn't want anyone to like me, so I yelled at them and swore all the time. No one ever wanted to hang out with me or talk to me and that's how I wanted things to be. I use to see guys hitting on girls, but I thought it was stupid. I hated being around people and I never wanted to have a boyfriend. That is, until I met you.” Tayuya said holding onto his arm. Naruto held her in his arms quietly for a while. When they were finished, Tayuya decided to get changed and settle down. Naruto made some ramen and they both sat beside each other and ate. They shared some of their food with each other and started to talk about their child. “Do you think it's going to be a boy or a girl?” Naruto asked as he rubbed her stomach. “I don't know. What do you want it to be?” Tayuya asked. “Well I always wondered what it would be like to have a son, but I've actually wanted to have a daughter more.” Naruto said with a smile. “Really? A girl? Not many guys like to have daughters. I'm surprised that you want one,” Tayuya said with a grin, then let out a sigh. “A daughter huh? I wonder what she would be like.” Tayuya said as she thought about it. “I bet she would be beautiful just like her mother.” Naruto said then kissed Tayuya on the lips. “She wouldn't be beautiful if she looked like me.” Tayuya said looking away. “Of course she would. She would be one of the most prettiest girls in the whole village, second only to her mother. And theres nothing you can say to make me change my mind about that.” Naruto said as he tickled Tayuya. “Hey! Stop that!” Tayuya shouted through her laughter. “Only if you'll stop saying you're ugly.” Naruto replied as he continued to tickle her. “Fine, fine, I'll stop, I'll stop.” She said as she was sitting in Naruto's lap. “Now it's your turn.” Tayuya said as she started to tickle Naruto. “Hey no fair!” Naruto yelled as he started laughing too. They're tickle fight lasted a while then they both stop to catch their breath. “That was fun.” Naruto said as he held Tayuya in his arms. “Yeah, but know I'm tired.” Tayuya said with a yawn. “I guess all that shopping is finally taking its toll on you.” Naruto said as he carried her into his room. “Yeah, I guess it is.” Tayuya replied as Naruto laid her down. Naruto stood there and watched her for a few seconds. Tayuya looked over to him and started to become impatient. “Well?” She asked. “What?” Naruto asked coming back to reality. “Aren’t you going to join me?” She asked with a grin. Naruto smiled and crawled into bed with her. “Do you need anything?” Naruto asked holding her. Tayuya started to think for a few seconds. “Hmmm… Well I’m a little uncomfortable with all these cloths on. Maybe we could put on something a little more ‘comfortable’.” Tayuya suggested with a small giggle. Naruto blushed as Tayuya and him got into some night cloths. “Wow Tayuya. You look really cute in that short night gown. It looks soft and silky.” Naruto said putting his arms around her. “Yeah. It feels so nice when it rubs agents my skin.” She said as Naruto picked her up and set her down in their bed. Naruto started to rub his face on Tayuya’s cloths. “Mmmm… You right. It does feel nice agents your skin.” Naruto said with a blush. Tayuya started to blush as well. The moon shined down through the window and illuminated Tayuya’s face. “I’m so glad you’re here.” Naruto said as he moved in closer and started to kiss her on the lips. They continued their kiss for a few minutes until they had to brake apart to catch their breath. “Do you still miss your girlfriend?” Tayuya asked a little sad. Naruto lowered his head. “Yeah. I really hurt her. She loved me so much and I…” Naruto couldn’t finish. “I know. I don’t know why, but I feel sorry for her. I never felt like this before, but every time I picture her, I see her crying and I can’t stop feeling sorry for her.” Tayuya said obviously thinking about Hinata. “I wish there was a way for me to be with her and you, but is there really a way?” Naruto asked as he held Tayuya closer. “I don’t know.” Tayuya said as she snuggled closer into Naruto’s chest and the two fell asleep.
